Hormone-related mood concerns
What is Depression?
Depression can occur as a response to the loss of a loved one, or be a chronic mood disorder. Many times those with depression experience a loss of interest in activities they used to love, weight loss, and an overall decline in awareness. This can all lead to a negative impact on one’s mental and physical health. Fortunately, this disorder is treatable. We are here for you to explore your options to find the best solution for you.
What is Anxiety?
Anxiety can feel crippling and debilitating at times. You might start off feeling edgy, tense, fatigued, heart racing. This can escalate into fear, sweating, times of panic and even having GI issues. When anxiety begins, you are experiencing the “fight or flight” response. This can begin a cascade of inflammation in your body that can affect you emotionally and physiologically. We can help you recognize and understand what is happening so you can begin a journey towards healing. Anxiety spectrum disorders include generalized anxiety, OCD, panic and PTSD.
